Ing. Daniel Beneš, MBA graduated from the Machinery faculty of the Mining school - Technical University in Ostrava.
In years 1993 - 1997 he worked as a sale manager in the company BOHEMIACOAL, later as a company managing director of HEDVIGA GROUP. Between 2000 – 2004 he was a company managing director of the TCHAS plant, which is the leading importer and fuel merchant in Czech Republic. In 2004 he acceded to the position of the Chief Procurement Officer of Procurement Department of the company CEZ, a. s. From 2006 he held the position of Chief Administration Officer. From May, 2006 he was Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since September 2011, he has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. At the same time he has been representing CEZ, a. s. in the company governed authorities.
He is Vice-President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and the winner of the prestigious contest Manager of the Year 2014.
Member of the Board of Directors of EP POWER EUROPE
A graduate of the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Prague. Jiří Fest holds the position of executive director for strategy at EP POWER EUROPE. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board of several companies, which are members of the EPH Group. He has previously occupied the positions of Director for Strategy in the ČEZ Group and Director of the Strategy Division and Central Power Dispatch at ČEPS.

Martin Herrmann graduated from Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universitat in Münster in Germany, where he acquired an academic title in the field of economics. Between 1994 and 2002 he worked for Commerzbank in various positions in Prague and in Frankfurt am Main, where his last job was as project manager and consultant to RWE during privatisation of the Czech gas industry. He worked for the RWE Concern from May 2002, when he became a member of the Board of Directors and Financial Director of Transgas. RWE Česká republika, a.s. assumed the controlling role in the RWE Group for the Czech Republic from RWE Transgas, a.s., where Martin Hermann worked in the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1 April 2007. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of RWE East, a division of the concern responsible for the activities of RWE in central and south-east Europe and Turkey. In April 2016 he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors with responsibility for trade in a new company, into which RWE AG separated trade, networks, infrastructure and renewable resources. This new company was named Innogy SE on 1 September 2016. Martin Hermann continues to manage business on the Czech power market under the new Innnogy Česká republika brand and is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Innogy Grid Holding.
Director of the Energy Management Division at Siemens, s.r.o.
He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology and holds a diploma from the International Institute of Certified Studies in Strategic Management.
Tomáš Hüner held the position of Minister of Industry and Trade from December 2017 to June 2018, during which time he interrupted his employment in the position of Director of the Energy Management Division for Siemens. Before he started working for Siemens in October 2015, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Director of Energy Sources for Vršanská uhelna, a.s. Between 2006 and 2014 he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board for ČEPS, a. s., while simultaneously holding the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board of OTE, a.s. between 2011 and 2014. As Deputy minister of Industry and Trade he directed creation of legislation and concepts in the field of power engineering and industry (2006-2011). He was chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of Severomoravská energetika, a.s. from 1994 to 2002.
Member of the Board of the Energy Regulatory Office
A graduate of the University of Chemicals and Technology in Prague. He has 30 years of experience in the gas industry, during which he worked in various career positions in the Plynoprojekt and Transgas companies. He has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of Severočeská plynárenská, a member of the Board of Directors of Plynoprojekt a.s., or as a member of the Board of Directors of Gas Infrastructure Europe (2006 to 2011) for example.
He has many years of experience in the field of concepts for construction of networks, compression stations and underground tanks, and also in the field of trade in natural gas and its transportation, he has worked in international teams.
Vystudovala právnickou fakultu Univerzity Karlovy a Institute of Continuing Education Faculty of Law Centre for European Studies, University of Cambridge.
V období 1999 až 2006 pracovala v oboru telekomunikací (švédská společnost TELE2), a to zejména na zavádění evropských liberalizačních předpisů. Od roku 2007 působí ve státní správě, kde postupně vystřídala pozici ředitelky odboru zahraničních investic v agentuře CzechInvest, následně byla jeho pověřenou generální ředitelkou a náměstkyní generálního ředitele. V období 2013/2014 byla náměstkyní ministra průmyslu a obchodu pro oblast evropských fondů. Od roku 2014 pracovala jako generální ředitelka Svazu obchodu a cestovního ruchu.

Cylinders Holding is the biggest manufacturer of seamless steel cylinders, pressure vessels, high-pressure accumulators and grinding balls.
Jan Světlík is a graduate of the University of Mining – Technical University of Ostrava. In 1994 he became director of what was then the VÍTKOVICE Lahvárna Company, which subsequently became an independent subsidiary of VÍTKOVICE HOLDING, a.s. This company won the tender for purchase of the entire machine engineering VÍTKOVICE group in a government tender in 2003.

Studied at the University of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Plzeň, field of study Nuclear Power Engineering.
He has 30 years of experience in the energy industry, during which he worked in various career positions especially in Jihočeská energetika a.s. In the years 1996-2009, he was a Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of MEAS, a.s. In the period from 2005, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Energy Centre České Budějovice.
In the years 2014-2015, he was a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Českomoravská distribuce s.r.o.
E.ON is the traditional partner of the Czech energy sector. Company has been operating on the Czech market since 1998 and supplying electricity to 1.2 million customers and natural gas to more than 220,000 customers, mainly in southern Bohemia and southern Moravia.
Member of the European Parliament
Mr. Tošenovský graduated from the University of Mining in Ostrava. After graduating he worked as amathematician for the Vítkovice and PIKE Electronic companies.
In 1993 he became Mayor of the City of Ostrava, a position he retained until 2000, when he transferred to Regional President’s Office. He was Regional President for two terms of office, while simultaneously managing the council of the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic. Following the ODS party’s failure in the regional elections in 2008 he briefly returned to work for the Vítkovice Holding Company, when he became advisor to the Managing Director Jan Světlík. In 2009 he became a Euro Member of Parliament, where he is active as a member of the Committee for industry, research and power engineering.
President of Gas Storage Europe (GSE)
Lubor earned his degree in engineering from the Technical University in Brno, Czech Republic and received Master of Business Administration at the Cass Business School, London.
Prior to his career in the gas sector, he worked in corporate finance where he mainly advised on acquisitions of Czech companies. He also worked for the inward investment agency of the Czech government where his responsibilities included establishing the first overseas office. Lubor Veleba is a president of Gas Storage Europe (GSE) and member of the Board of Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE).
