For the third year of the IEC we chose the topic of Risks and challenges of production and transfer of energies in EU – the biggest calls for a united European market. Our aim was to present and share the opinions of the EU, the EP, the Czech Republic, Russia and other important energy players to all the members of the meeting. The reason for this topic was the fact that in many countries there could be seen a very hectic creative process of new energetic mix without realising problems of neighbouring countries.
The conference was held under the auspices of Mr Petr Nečas, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Martin Kuba, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Mr Evžen Tošenovský, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) of the European Parliament and Ms Alena Vitásková, the Chairwoman of the Energy Regulatory Office.
Within this conference the first meeting with media was organised. There the representatives of region press agencies were informed of the main outcomes of the conference.
